Floyd Mayweather Jr. Invests In 50 Cent's New Film 'Tomorrow Today'


50 Cent has teamed with boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. on a new movie titled Tomorrow Today, the rap star/mogul revealed during the Sundance Film Festival this weekend.

According to 50, Tomorrow Today, which the rapper is writing and directing, will begin shooting this Summer in Grand Rapids.

While the pair were tightlipped about Tomorrow Today during a press conference, 50 Cent revealed that Floyd Mayweather Jr. who is a close friend - is now a business associate - through an investment in the project, which is also being produced by 50 Cent's Cheetah Vision film company.

The announcement comes on the heels of a $200 million dollar investment deal for Cheetah Vision, which will produce 10 movies that will be distributed by Lions Gate.

During Sundance, 50 premiered his latest movie Gun, which was also shot in Grand Rapids along with three other movies in 2010, including Caught in the Crossfire and Things Fall Apart.

Tomorrow Today is expected to being shooting in August.
