No longer bootlegging her own bootlegs, Jeanie has linked with Gangsta Grillz as she prepares us for "Cake Or Death" this fall.
New York emcee Jean Grae has teamed with DJ Drama for mixtape, Cookies & Comas. The onetime member of Natural Resource will release the project at 12pm EST on June 23 digitally, as a free project with the Gangsta Grillz leader. The work features Royce Da 5'9, Styles P, Pharoahe Monch and Grae's longtime Blacksmith Music backer, Talib Kweli.
The project is a set-up for Cake Or Death, Grae's first album in over three years, which will be released through Blacksmith/EMI Records.
Today, she released "Caskebasket," a Boogie Blind-produced song from Cookies & Comas.
