DJ Pauly D Confirms His Deal With 50 Cent's G-Unit Records

The "Jersey Shore" star speaks on signing with the house that Fif built.

Jersey Shore’s DJ Pauly D has confirmed his impending deal with 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records. Speaking with XXLMag.com, the reality star explains that he is currently structuring a three-album deal with G-Unit that will supposedly also include a Pauly D-branded headphone line.

“I would say the end of the year,” said Pauly D of the signing. “50 Cent has also been somebody I look up to. We ended up linking up and we just clicked. We hit it off immediately with the music and everything like that. So, I’m definitely gonna be working with him. There’s been talks about the album and the headphones. I’m looking forward to working with that as well.”

DJ Whoo Kid also previously addressed the rumor that Pauly D would be signing to G-Unit, but speculated that it was to its subsidiary G-Note. “He has new records that he wants to showcase and since 50 is doing a lot of, especially with the Hot Rod situation, he wants to broaden the horizons,” he said. “He wants to get in the club scene and what better way?”
