Ja Rule Pleads Guilty To $3M Tax Evasion

Earlier today, Jeffrey Atkins, aka Ja Rule pleaded guilty to tax evasion in a New Jersey courtroom for unpaid taxes on more than $3 million in income–earned between the years of 2004 and 2006. As part of the plea agreement, the 35 year old Grammy nominated rapper, who’ll also serve time (2 years) for a weapon possession charge dating back to 2007, will have two counts dismissed by the government for unpaid income in ’07 & ’08. Ja could face up to a year along with his additional two years for his weapons charge.
