Dame Dash & Staff Open A Vintage Clothing Store Within DD172 Compound


Add The Local 172 Trading Post to DD172's growing list of spacial functions. Ski Beatz helps the crew ring in the recycled freshness.

Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Damon "Dame" Dash's latest musical home has been DD172, a Duane Street Manhattan compound that includes recording studios, an art gallery and the offices to Blu Roc Records. This week the space will also include a vintage clothing store.

DD172 announced that Local 172 Trading Post will open on March 26 at noon. To bring in the expansion, Ski Beatz, who works out of DD172 will be spinning. The new store is said to tailor to vintage finds within brands such as Ralph Lauren, Pendleton, LL Bean and Woolrich.

Blu Roc Records is planning the release of Curren$y's Muscle Car Chronicles later this year.
