Romeo Announces New Signing To No Limit Forever Label

Rapper Romeo has announced his newest signings to No Limit Forever Records, as he attempts to continue the legacy built by his father, mogul Master P.

Romeo took over the No Limit Brand in January of 2010, when Master P. announced his eldest son was now the President of No Limit Forever, a continuation of the pioneering No Limit Records imprint, which sold over 75 million records.

The latest acts on the label include Miss Chee, Kay-I and rapper Oak Tree, all of whom were signed by Romeo and No Limit A&R executive Terry Miles.

Romeo has billed Miss Chee "The First Lady of The Tank," a nod to the No Limit brand's famous logo.

“You can’t compare her to nobody, she’s different, unique with a lot of talent," Romeo said of Miss Chee. "She’s definitely the next female artist to take over the hip hop game. She’s street, sexy, classy with swagger.”

Miss Chee is currently working on her first mixtape for No Limit Forever titled Queen of the Streets, in addition to a mixtape with Romeo titled Bonnie & Clyde.

Romeo also signed rapper Kay-I, an English artist who is described as an R&B/Reggae/Hip-Hop performer of Jamaican and Nigerian descent.

“It is an honor to be amongst some of the top music moguls in the business like Master P and Romeo. Together we will change the game again,” Kay-I.

Finally, Romeo said he inked Atlanta rapper Oak Tree to a deal. According to the label, Oak Tree "represents the south, the struggle, the streets, and the ghetto dreams of coming from nothing to something."

He recently dropped a new single titled "The Statement."

“It doesn’t matter who got now, we got next," Romeo boasted. "I learned from the best… the streets is ours. I decided to sign these artists because they are the cream of the crop, reminds me of classic No Limit MCs Mia X, Mystical, and Mac. No Limit Forever… we play to win. And Miss Chee, Kay-I, and Oak Tree fit the puzzle to the new army.”
