Additional performers who were falsely booked for the La Crosse, Wisconsin gig include Warren G and Naughty by Nature.
Cypress Hill were set to take the stage alongside Naughty by Nature and Warren G at the Hip Hop 2011 Monsters of Hip Hop show, scheduled for August 20th at La Crosse, Wisconsin’s South Side Oktoberfest grounds. But because of a booking agent scam, the concert is no longer taking place.
According to La Cross Tribune, a third-party booking agent fraudulently booked the acts for the gig, scamming local promoters. Said promoters weren’t scammed out of any money, as they realized that Cypress Hill will be playing in Los Angeles, California on the same day.
The billed artists will not be making appearances, but concert promoters are trying to reschedule the date.
