Lil' Kim Claims To Sell 113,000 Copies In 28 Hours Of "Black Friday"
Lil' Kim says she moved massive units in just over a day's time.
The recession apparently isn't affecting Lil' Kim, as the Queen Bee claims to have sold 113,000 copies of her mixtape, Black Friday.
The release, intended originally to be free, was later priced at $9.99 a copy.
Kim's boastful claim mirrors that of rival Nicki Minaj, who rhymes in Drake's song "Up All Night," "Wait, wait, fixate / Which bitch you know made a million off a mixtape?"
Kim took her Twitter account (@LilKim) to make the announcement.
"Thanks to you guys!! #lilkimblackfridaymixtape sold 113,000 copies in 28 hours which made me the #1 seller on paypal ever =) !!! THANK U! RT"
If true, Kim would have earned approximately $1.1 million from the project, which features disses aimed at NIcki Minaj.
